The Blaine County Journal News-Opinion - We've Got The County Covered

The tracks that run through Chinook have had many different locomotives carry cargo through town. In recognition of the 2016 Sugarbeet Festivals choice to recognize the Railroad Industry, we at the Blaine County Journal/News Opinion, felt a shot of one of the massive machines rolling through town would be a fitting front page picture. When the conductor of that locomotive turns out to be one of Chinooks own it seemed perfect. Carry Qualls is at the helm of this eastbound train.
