Chinook football team under new direction

The Chinook Sugarbeeter football team is under the direction of a new head coach after the removal of former head coach Scott Friede. The reason for the change was not released.
Chinook school Superintendent Darin Hannum stated, “Mr. Christian Lehnert is the head football coach for the Chinook Sugarbeeters for the remainder of the season. We would like to thank all of the players, coaches, students, fans and community members for their support of the program and school.”
Mr. Tannar Cummings will remain as assistant coach.
