Pat Martin, 76, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at her home in Davis, CA. Daughter of the late Harry and Olive Johnson, Pat was born May 3, 1940, in Whitefish, MT, and lived her school years in Montana, graduating from Chinook High School (1958) and the University of Montana (1961). She offered compassionate listening and prayer support during one-on-one meetings with women who welcomed her presence as they faced some of life's difficulties. Pat also travelled extensively with her good friend Nancy, with whom she explored the world.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Bruce Martin, and is survived by her brother Bob Johnson (Robin), of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, nephew Karl (Renee) Johnson, of Spartanburg, SC, niece Erika (Michael) Cannon of Sewanee, TN, great nieces Isabel Spinelli of Sewanee, TN, Charlotte and Madeline Johnson of Spartanburg, SC, and great nephew Daniel Johnson of Spartanburg, SC.
