The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds and Harlem Wildcats cross country teams will be in Kalispell this weekend, specifically Rebecca Farm as they take part in the Class B and Class C State meet.
The Wildcats hosted the final tune-up for our local runners this past Friday with some very impressive results.
Wildcat freshman L'Tia Lawrence easily won the girls race crossing the finish line in 19:41 with her nearest competitor nearly three minutes behind.
The Thunderbirds were represented by Dianna Snow finished third, Maxine PlainFeather was ninth, Darrellyn BlackWolf tenth and Rayleigh Kirkaldie thirteenth.
Hays/Lodge Pole's Isaiah RunsAbove finished in 16:47 to win the boys event and teammate Gilbert Snow completed the course in 17:43 for second place. Tough Snow completed the tri-fecta for the Thunderbirds finishing third with a time of 18:45.
