Henry (Cody) J. Fox, Jr., Mescalero, New Mexico, went to be with our Creator on June 1, 2017.

Henry was born on July 4, 1944 to Henry Fox, Sr. and Ruth Powder Face-Fox at Fort Belknap Hospital, Harlem, Montana.

Henry attended school at Saint Paul's Mission in Hays, Montana. He played basketball for the Mission Braves. He had worked on various ranches in the Bear Paws. In the early 1970's he went to New Mexico where he had met his wife Patricia Mendez. From this union they had five children. He worked for Mescalero Apache Housing for many years as a maintenance technician.

Preceding him are his parents Henry Fox, Ruth Fox, brothers Melvin Fox and Ronald Fox.

Surviving are his daughters, Shoshana Fox, Wileen Chee-Fox, Faith Mendez, Step-daughter Margaret Mendez and son Tyrone Fox. 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren all of Mescalero. Sisters Elizabeth Doney, Marie Kuka, Florence Fox, Mary Mendez and brother Jim Fox. Henry also leaves many, many good friends of both Fort Belknap and Mescalero.

Farewell services were on June 7, 2017 at St. Joseph's Apache Mission with Internment at Mescalero Cemetery.
