Howard Owen Dahl, 81 passed away on July 13th 2017 at Northern Montana Care Center, due to natural causes.
Howard was born August 27th 1935 to Andrew and Anna Dahl in Chinook, Montana. He was raised on the family farm south of Chinook until he graduated from high school in 1954. In 1955 he joined the Army and was stationed in Germany until his discharge in 1957. He then worked at the Farmer Union in Chinook. In July of 1959 he joined in marriage to Rosalie also from Chinook. They lived south of Chinook on the family farm and in later years moved into Chinook were he retired.
Howard was proceeded in death by one son Scott Dahl, his Parents, four Brothers, and one Sister.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, two sons Mike (Cindy) Dahl and Doug (Karen) Dahl, one granddaughter Jennifer, one grandson Marc (Sarah), and one great grandson Elias.
At Howard’s request there will be no services. The family asks that any memorials be sent to an organization of their choice.
