Blaine County Library

July 26, 2017

The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting today at 11:00 a.m. in the library meeting room.

The final LEGO Club for the summer will be today at 2:00 p.m. and the last Middle School Hangout will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Kids can still read and put their name in for prizes until Friday August 4th. We will draw for prizes at 5:00 on Friday August 4th. Accelerated Reader tests will be available until school starts.

If you are looking for a romance to read, you are in luck. "The Nearness of You" by Dorothy Garlock and "Beautiful Tempest" by Johanna Lindsey are available this week. We also recently purchased 25 large print romances that are available for checkout. "Secrets of the Tulip Sisters" by Susan Mallery is a charming tale about the problem with secrets, the power of love and the unbreakable bond between sisters. "House of Spies" by Daniel Silva is a thrilling new international blockbuster featuring legendary spy, assassin, and art restorer Gabriel Allon. "Collared" is an Andy Carpenter mystery by David Rosenfelt. In "Look Behind You" by Iris Johansen, a serial killer with a most unusual method is on the loose in San Diego. With each kill, the perpetrator leaves behind mystifying random objects. The one thing that is clear is that the murders all have one characteristic in common: They all require the specific skills of Kendra Michaels, a hired gun for both the FBI and the CIA. A seemingly idyllic, close-knit suburban neighborhood hides deeply buried secrets in the emotionally intense suspense novel, "Blame" by Jeff Abbott.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what's going on!
