Linda Sue Chandler, Proper name "Nebea" (Singer) 69 years was born March 12, 1948 on the Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation. An Enrolled Gros-Ventre, passed away June 30, 2017, at the Havre Care Center due to complications after suffering a massive stroke on June 17, 2017.

Linda was known to her loved ones as "Susie". Susie was born to George J. Chandler, Sr. and Marjorie M. (Keiser) Chandler, raised in Hays, MT, and Oakland, California. Attended schools at the St. Pauls Mission, Hays, MT, Oakland Public Schools, in California, graduated High School at the Flandreau Indian Boarding School at the Flandreau, South Dakota.

Susie was employed at various positions in Montana, New Mexico and North Dakota, her favorite place to live and work was in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Susie was a dedicated mother to her four children, she also raised five grandchildren, she was in the process of raising a great-granddaughter. Susie loved to dance, attend Pow Wows, eat other people's cooking, collecting anything with an Owl on it, her favorite color is yellow.

Susie is survived by sons Lewis Shortman of Ft. Belknap Agency, Bill Edward Quincy of Old Hays, MT, daughter Donna Rae Dale of the family home, Great-Granddaughter Perci of the family home, daughters Donna and RaeLynn of North Dakota. Sister Penny Chandler of Eaglechild, Hays, MT; Carol Chandler of Ft. Belknap Agency, Sister-in-law Ina Nez Perce-Chandler of Ft. Belknap Agency, two siblings in Hays, MT, thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Godchildren Chandler R. Hawley, George "Choch" Chandler, Susan P.V. Chandler, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Paternal Grandparents Al & Cora(Rider) Chandler, Maternal grandparents Alta and Wilbur Keiser, beloved brother Raymond L. Chandler, Sr. Goddaughter Rebecca Rose Connor, nephew John D. Kindness, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
