Larissa Aiton and her husband Brock with her Mule Deer buck that she harvested with her bow recently south of Chinook. Larissa said her shot came from about 35 yards give or take. Above right: Chinook eighth grader Bryden Friede harvested his first deer with a bow on September 24th along the river south of Chinook. Bryden sat by himself on the bank during the hunt while his dad Brian was near by watching things unfold. When he took the shot his dad was there to help harvest the animal. Bryden says he put his 35 pin on the doe but luckily she flinched and dropped down a bit or he would have missed the 40 yard shot.
