Erika Arnold, above left, and Cody Arnold below left show their animals at the NILE Convention in Billings, Montana.

The Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE). According to the NILE website the event is "dedicated to the promotion of livestock, agriculture education, and preserving the western way of life."

The show is a week long and is generally held one week in October. A gathering of contestants and entries from 38 states converge for the week long event.

Hundreds of registrants bring livestock to show and to sell as well. The Nile includes a first rate Rodeo and puts on the Montana Agri-Trade Exposition (MATE) in February.

The NILE includes something for everyone; cattle, lambs, pigs, goats, show horses, rodeo horses, bucking horses, as well as 4-her's, and FFA-ers, and their families.

This year several youth from Blaine County took part in the event. Including the Arnold's Kade Friede, Morgan Friede and Wylee Simenson took part in the event.

Congratulations and well done to all participants!
