The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel will be the movie today at 1:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. It is rated PG-13 and running time is 2 hours. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. Rooster Cogburn will be January 17th. We are showing the movies with closed captioning whenever possible. Hopefully this will encourage those who may have difficulties hearing the movies to attend.

Stop in and take a look at the January book display. Kelsey has put together a display of books with red covers! There are thrillers and romances and a few non-fiction books too.

We have three new movies this week. The Emoji Movie, The Mountain Between Us, and Leap! are ready for checkout.

We have a number of new fiction books available, two from authors new to our library. “The Woman in the Window” by A.J. Finn is a gripping thriller. “The Wife Between Us” by Greer Hendricks is a psychological thriller. Both of these books are debut novels. “Operator Down” by Brad Taylor is a Pike Logan thriller. “Firefly Cove” by Davis Bunn is a powerful novel of first love and second chances that will live in readers’ hearts for years to come. ”Troubled Waters” by Susan May Warren is book 4 in the Montana Rescue series. “Out of the Ashes” by Tracie Peterson is book 2 in the Heart of Alaska series.

Middle School Hangout is scheduled for January 22nd from 3:30 to 5:00 and is for students in grades 6 through 8. LEGO Club will be Thursday January 25th from 3:30 to 4:30 and is open to grades K-6.

Be sure to check out the on-going book sale in the entryway while you are here. You may find something you just can’t do without! All proceeds from our book sales go into our memorial fund and are used for special programming.
