Over the past few weeks, Bill and Mary Hake have been to Great Falls to visit Charlie Shanefelter while he was in hospice. Since his passing, they have been to visit Sally at her home in Turner. Condolences are extended to Sally and all his family. He will be missed by many.

Max and Kirsti Cederberg were to Great Falls on Saturday. They stopped in Chinook and picked up Bill and Edith Bilger to take them along. They met Dale and Lynda Cederberg there and took Nellie Cederberg to lunch to celebrate her birthday (Monday). Happy Birthday wishes to you, Nellie!!

Anita and Bridget Reed accompanied Johannas and Shannon Brown and boys to Big Sandy to watch the Tornado-Pioneer basketball games.

Randy and Diana Maloney visited Dan and Helen Maloney in Havre on Friday.

The make up day at the Turner School has been set for Friday, January 19th. Classes will run from 8:00-12:00 noon. Lunch will be served prior to dismissing the students.

February 3rd is the date that has been chosen for Homecoming at the Turner High School.

Lisa Stroh, a representative for Books are Fun, will be at the school to do a book fair and gift item sale in conjunction with Parent Teacher Conferences. It will be held in the lunchroom from 12:00-6:00 p.m.

There will be Varsity basketball games in Turner on Friday, Jan. 19th. They will host the North Star Knights. Then on Saturday, the Tornadoes will travel to Fort Benton for games at 4:30 and 6:00 P.M. Hope you will be able to come support the Tornado teams.
