Harlem Golf Course is a "go" for 2018

January 31, 2018

The Board of Directors for the Harlem Golf Course is optimistic for its future. Sales from their current fundraiser of 34 Guns in 30 Days has generated $6,000. Realistically they need $40,000 raised and in the bank when they open this spring. Any monies over $40,000 will be used to upgrade equipment and facilities. Two early bird drawings remain for the 34 Guns in 30 Days fundraiser as well as every day in April.

In addition to the 34 Guns in 30 Days raffle, several recurring raffles will still be part of the regular fundraising activities—the annual golf banquet, Ralph’s Guns raffle and the raffle for Charlie’s Cedar Chest. The annual golf banquet is set for Saturday, April 7th, 6 p..m at the Harlem VFW Club. A 34 Guns in 30 Days rifle will be drawn that night.

Lyle Faulkinberry will have a fundraiser during the banquet. A “progressive drawing” will have only 300 tickets sold with a top prize of $1,000.

Tickets for the fundraisers are available at Richman Insurance, in Harlem, as well as several other merchants in town. Tickets are also available at locations in Chinook and Havre.

The Harlem Golf Course takes pride in maintaining an excellent golfing experience for golf players from Harlem, Fort Belknap, Chinook, Havre, Malta and the region.
