Harlem enters District 2B as No. 2 seed, Turner No. 3 in the District 9C

Head Coach Laramie Schwenke addresses her team during a time our against Glasgow. The Harlem Lady Cats finished the regular season with 15-3 overall record and a 7-1 mark in the District 2B. Harlem enters the District 2B as the No. 2 seed and has already assured themselves of a spot at the Northern B Divisional in Cut Bank March 1-3.

The Turner Tornadoes were the big winners the final week of the regular season for area girls basketball teams as they picked up a pair of wins over the Chinook Sugarbeeters 59-44 on Tuesday and the Big Sandy Pioneers 50-32 on Monday. The Tornadoes were defeated by the Box Elder Bears on Friday 69-17.

The Harlem Wildcats saw their 14 game winning streak come to an end with a 49-38 setback to the Shelby Coyotes on Friday. Saturday Harlem suffered their first loss in District 2B play, a 64-50 setback to the Poplar Indians.
