This cement statue was added to the downtown area of Ellensburg, Washington in 1986. Sculpted by an eastern Washington artist who became quite famous, the bull on the bench was initially very controversial but has since come to be recognized as one of the most famous pieces of art in the town known for its famous rodeo and bull riding finale.
