Photos from: Turner Students promote Autism Awareness, celebrate Earth Day

Students and Staff at Turner School wore T Shirts with Autism emblems to school recently to show support and awareness toward Autism. It was heartwarming to see all the puzzle piece shirts or/and ribbons with puzzle design with words of encouragement and awareness. According to the National Health Survey, about 1 in 68 children born will be affected with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This being known, this affects more children than what most people are aware of. Showing awareness and support to this disorder is very important. These students in Turner were happy to show support in their school and wear their colors and puzzle pieces proudly, hoping one day soon, there may be a cure and all the pieces of the puzzle can be put together!
