Matt Lutz, a pilot and mechanic at Taylor Aviation in Fort Benton, is restoring this 1955 CallAir Snowcar. Lutz bought the snow plane from a farmer near Big Sandy and said with about two weeks of solid work he could have the machine operable. He believes each CallAir machine was somewhat unique. This model has a 135 horsepower Lycoming aircraft engine, a more powerful engine than normal.
