Bing Crosby, pictured here, first sang "White Christmas" on NBC radio, Christmas Day, 1941. Crosby's 1942 recording of "White Christmas" is the world's best-selling single with estimated sales of 50 million copies. Combined with recordings of the song by other artists, it's believed more than 100 million copies have sold. The song was composed by Irving Berlin in 1940.
