Photos from: MSU professor to speak about history of modernism in Montana art




Dr. Michelle Corriel, art history Assistant Teaching Professor at Montana State University-Bozeman, will be presenting a lecture on the work of artist Jessie Wilbur who produced the 20 prints of Blackfeet tipi designs currently on display at the Blaine County Museum. Wilbur is one of the artists featured in Corriel's new book about Montana Modernists to be released this fall (see inset of book with Corriel's picture). The free lecture is open to the public and set for 2pm on Saturday, September 24 at the Blaine County Museum, 501 Indiana Street in Chinook. A Zoom viewing will also be available.
