Aaniiih Nakoda will host evaluation from Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities

 


Aaniiih Nakoda College will host a full-scale evaluation visit from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities on April 10-12, 2017.

The purpose of the visit is to evaluate Aaniiih Nakoda College’s capacity to effectively achieve its educational mission and goals. The evaluation committee will prepare a committee report that will be useful to the college and serve as the basis for the Commission’s decision regarding the reaffirmation of the college’s accreditation status.

Aaniiih Nakoda College is currently accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The college’s accreditation was most recently reaffirmed in 2014, following the submission and approval of its Year Three Self-Evaluation Report.

The public is invited to submit comments regarding Aaniiih Nakoda College’s qualifications for accreditation.

In order to be considered, all comments must be signed, dated, and received by the Commission no later than March 10, 2017. Comments will be forwarded, as received, to Aaniiih Nakoda College, the evaluation committee, and the Commission.
