Brenda Mohar, Legion Auxiliary member, came to the Turner School this past Thursday afternoon to present the Americanism Essay winners and Poppy poster winners. After the local winners were announced last spring, the essays and posters were sent on to the state level for competition. It is with great pleasure that these students' work were top notch winners!

In the poppy poster contest, top winners in the various divisions are seen with Mrs. Brenda Mohar, Bailey Billmayer, Hannah Richman, Sarah Billmayer, Melanie Watkins. Not shown but Mrs. Mohar is holding her work, Laci Maloney.

The Americanism essay winners were also announced. These students had top notch writing from the local level on to the state level. They are shown with Mohar: Sarah Billmayer, Wrien Wolery, Chantry Jorgenson, Alaynee Hawley, and Jack Harmon. Congratulations to all these students! The entire Big Flat community is proud of you!
