Harlem FFA in Billings for 88th State Leadership Convention

The Harlem FFA recently traveled to Billings to take part in the 88th State Leadership Convention. The Harlem FFA Chapter traveled to Billings April 4-7 for 88th State Leadership Convention. Representing Harlem were Skylee Dirden, Daniel Rasmussen, Curtis Humphreys, Haylee Johnson, Alaynee Hawley, Andrew Rasmussen, and Zach Kinyon. The Chapter attended the nightly sessions, the hypnotist show, the career and trade show, and took in the sights around the city. In addition, the FFA Chapter competed in Agronomy, Livestock, and Mechanics Career Development Events. The Mechanics team of Daniel, Curtis, Andrew, and Zach placed 53rd out of 72 teams. High scorer from the team was Daniel. The Agronomy team of Alaynee, Skylee, Zach, and Haylee placed 48 out of 63 teams with Alaynee placing 121st out of 240 competitors. Lastly, the Livestock Judging team consisting of Daniel, Skylee, Haylee, and Andrew placed 45th out of 79 teams and individually Skylee placed 174th out of 300 competitors. The chapter would like to thank everyone that supported the various events and fundraisers this year that the chapter attended and hosted. A special thanks goes to Ira Talks Different for driving the bus so well on all the icy roads.
