Welcome home to Helen and Jim Billmayer.. Good to have our neighbors and community members back in the area. All the family has been to see them and they are enjoying catching up with the grandkids.

Loretta and Wally Beck spent the weekend of May 11-13 in the Missoula area. On the way, they visited the Brent Anderson’s in Lincoln and then saw Wally’s sister, Marilyn Herman in Missoula at St. Patrick’s Hospital where she had by pass surgery. She is doing great and is out of the hospital now. On Saturday evening, they attended a Graduation party for Jen Cuerasma and Joely Hiniker who had graduated earlier that day. They also visited both of the nieces homes Sunday afternoon. They left for home Monday morning, stopping in Great Falls and saw Laura and Dale Sherwood, and had Dr. appointments on Tuesday before coming home.

Teresa Cornell attended graduation in Turner Saturday going especially for their niece Stacie Cornell. She attended her party and also the party for Jim Reed and Eddie Harmon and Laci Maloney.


Carol and Duane attended a family wedding of their son, Morgan to Jessica, at Beaver Creek. Ashley and Josh Bare of Billings also attended. They were guests at Carol and Duane’s over the weekend.

Harley Jo Beck had lunch with Grandpa Wally Beck on Friday and then Wally took her to Zellmers for Gracie’s birthday party.

Brenda Mohar and Shawna Billmayer accompanied the track team to Great Falls for the Divisional Track meet last week. They will travel to Great Falls again this week to the State Meet after the team placed in their respective events.


Merrilyn Billmayer and Loretta Beck attended a luncheon at Nancy Snider’s home honoring Nancy on her 70th birthday. Several other ladies were also in attendance.

Loretta Beck attended graduation Saturday in Turner and a graduation party for Stacie Cornell afterwards. Wally and Loretta attended Jim Reeds party afterwrds.

Classes will be dismissed Thursday at 12:30 p.m. for the summer months at Turner school. Have a good summer, Kids.

Fran and Doug Hamilton attended Graduation Saturday coming especially for Shays eighth grade graduation. They also attended the parties for Jim Reed, and the graduation parties going on in Turner.

Brian and Lynette Sallee are out this weekend and also attended Jim Reeds party in Turner.

Elissa and Jordan hosted a 6th birthday party for daughter, Gracie on Friday. Those present were her Kindergarten class ,Maddox Keller, Alaina. Egbert, Lucas Grabofsky, Harley Jo Beck and the honored guest, Gracie.


A family party for Gracie was held Friday evening. Present were Jamie and Crystal Zellmer, Kathy and Ed Zellmer, and Wayne and Connie Jones.

Gene and Susan Billmayer hosted a family meal honoring Jim and Helen Billmayer on their 69th Wedding Anniversary on Friday. Also present were Helen’s cousins from Norway, Odgir and Annamay Aske, who came for the special occasion.

Helen and Jim Billmayer and the cousins from Norway were invited to a supper at Betty and Mark Billmayer’s in Chinook on Sunday.

Harlan and Jane Krass attended the 90th birthday party for Jim Reed on Saturday in Turner.

Kindergarten graduation was held Monday May 21st at the Turner school. Those graduating are Amos Billmayer, Madalyn Billmayer, Alaina Egbert, Lucas Grabofsky, Maddox Keller, and Gracie Zellmer.

Awards night was held in Turner on Monday night at 7 p.m. for all Academic and Athletic students.

Memorial Day services will be held Monday May 28th beginning at Silverbow Cemetery a 10 a.m., followed by Wing, and then Turner Cemetery. The Auxiliary will be serving lunch at the old gym following the Turner service.

Susan and Emily Billmayer took in Turners graduation, and birthday party for Jim Reed after. On Sunday they went to Graduation in Chinook and then Susan took Emily back to Havre.

There will be 90th Birthday party for Jim Billmayer on Sunday May 27th at the Harlem Senior Center from 2-4 p.m. Everyone welcome. Helen and Jim celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on May 18th. Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to them.
