Chinook finishes 3rd overall at State Swim Meet in Conrad, Harlem 3rd in Class B

The Chinook Lions 9-10 Midget Boys 100 Meter Free Relay capped off a season for the ages winning a state championship in the event. Pictured above left to right are: Brockton Elliot, Daniel Tilleman, Kohen Sullivan and Nathaniel Plainfeather. The boys set a pool record in every pool they swam in this season and shattered the state federation record in Conrad with a time 1:04.98. The quartet also had plenty of success in the 100 Meter Medley relay as well winning a state title with a time of 1:18.53.

The summer swim season came to a close this past weekend in Conrad at the Montana Federation of Swimmers State Swim meet.

22 Teams were on hand to compete for individual and team championships. The team race was broken down into four classes, AA, A, B and C. Individual swimmers competed against the field.

The Chinook Lions swim team racked up 533 points to finish third overall with two high point winners. Harlem finished third in Class B with 171 points.
