Don’t forget the Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings at the Turner Lutheran Church on Sunday, Oct. 7, from 12-2 p.m. Come out and enjoy a great meal put on by the Turner WELCA.

Susan Billmayer went to Havre on Friday and brought daughter Emily out for the weekend.

Many people from the Hogeland Area attended the wedding of Aaron VanValkenburg and Meghan Johnson held at the Wendy and Kevin VanValkenburg farm. A catered reception followed the marriage service conducted by Rowlie Hutton. Congratulations to the young couple as they begin their life together.

Jennifer Strzelczyk spent the weekend at Susan and Gene Billmayers. She and Emily went to the wedding together.

Tate, Ty and Harley Jo Beck spent Sunday at Grandma Loretta and Grandpa Wally Becks while their folks went out to celebrate their Anniversary.

Melissa Hiniker was out for the weekend at her grandparents, Ed and Kathy Zellmer.


Wally and Loretta Beck attended the VanValkenburg wedding Saturday afternoon.

Cori and Nicole Hedstrom and Jackson of Rathdrum, Idaho were out to visit at the Don Cornell home this week.

Sandy Beck was to Chinook on Tuesday and to Havre on Thursday and attended her nephew Aaron’s wedding to Meghan on Saturday.

Crystal, Cassidy, Holly, Cooper and Lucy Grabofsky were over to Loretta and Wally Becks on Thursday and helped them get their produce out of the garden before the freeze.

Teresa Cornell was to Great Falls on Saturday to see Mom Evelyn Hedstrom, and to attend a baby shower for Anna Waring.

On Sunday, Hilary and Natalie Richman were out to see Mom and Dad Krass. Hilary and Mom made some apple pies while they were there.


Linda Hauge took Jane and Harlan Krass to Chinook on Tuesday for Jane’s therapy.

Elissa and Jordan Zellmer and family attended the VanValkenburg wedding on Saturday. Cassie and Richard Handran and family have moved to Harlem from Scobey this past week and will live in Evelyn Hedstrom’s home.

Linda Hauge, Diana Maloney, and Anita Reed have been out to see Mom and Dad during the week to visit and help them.

Cassie Handran and children were out to Hogeland Church Sunday and to visit and have lunch with Teresa and Dave Cornell.

The Big Flat Electric Annual Meeting will be Oct. 13 in Malta beginning with registration at 11 am with dinner and meeting to follow.

The Turner Volleyball girls teams went to Poplar on Thursday. They won all their games. Congrats Girls!

We have had some cool weather this past week with showers and a freeze. Sorry to see our beautiful flowers freeze.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Ann Marie O’Leary Gregoire, who passed away this past week. Her service was Saturday at the Lutheran Church in Harlem.

Don’t forget the attend the upcoming Fireman’s Spaghetti Supper at the Hogeland Lutheran Church basement on Oct.14, from 5-7 p.m. This supper is to benefit the Hogeland Fire Department operations. Its always a good meal and for a worthy cause.
