In “Trust Me” by Hank Phillippi Ryan an accused killer insists she’s innocent of a heinous murder, a grieving journalist surfaces from the wreckage of her shattered life, and their unlikely alliance leads to a dangerous cat and mouse game that will leave you breathless. Who can you trust when you can’t trust yourself? “Transcription” by Kate Atkinson is a dramatic story of WWII espionage, betrayal, and loyalty. “Leave No Trace” by Mindy Mejia is a riveting and suspenseful thriller about the mysterious disappearance of a boy and his stunning return ten years later. Jodi Picoult tackles a complicated issue in her new novel. How do we balance the rights of pregnant women with the rights of the unborn they carry? What does it mean to be a good parent? A Spark of Light will inspire debate, conversation . . . and, hopefully, understanding.
Our display table has a wide variety of spooky books available for checkout for the month of October.
