Blaine County Library

March 27, 2019

Free People Reading Freely Book Club will meet Monday April 8th at 7:00 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend. We have a list of banned books to choose from. If there is a banned book a participant would like to read that the library doesn’t have, we would be happy to get a copy.

Due to the renovation of our restrooms, we will not be showing a Wednesday movie for the month of March. Story Time, Middle School Hangout and LEGO Club will continue at their regular times. Story Time is Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Middle School Hangout is Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 p.m. and is for students in grades 6 through 8. LEGO Club is on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. and is open to kids in grades K through 6.

In “Deep Harbor” Fern Michaels delves into the remarkable ways in which moments of crises can lead to our greatest acts of courage. A shocking accident, a little girl struggling to survive, and the childless aunt who transforms her own world to help her is what you will find in “Silent Night” by Danielle Steel. Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett encounters bad behavior on his own turf--only to have the FBI and the DOJ ask him to stand down--in the thrilling new novel from C.J. Box. “The Girls at 17 Swann Street” by Yara Zgheib is a haunting portrait of a young woman’s struggle with anorexia on an intimate journey to reclaim her life. “Our House” by Louise Candlish is a disturbing and addictive novel of domestic suspense, where secrets kept hidden from spouses cause shocking surprises that hit home.

Aquaman is the only new movie available this week.

There is always something going on at the library deeply moving story of resilience and hope. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what’s going on!
