So many books! So little time! “The Stranger Diaries” is written by Elly Griffiths. She shares her suspicions and fears about the case in her diary until one day she discovers someone else’s handwriting: Hallo Clare. You don’t know me.

Kia Corthron is the author of “The Castle Cross the Magnet Carter.” In this novel readers can follow the lives of four men - two white brothers from rural Alabama, and two black brothers from small-town Maryland - from 1941 to the twenty-first century. “The Suspect” is by Fiona Barton. Two girls go missing in Thailand and their families are thrust into the international spotlight. As journalist Kate Waters covers the story she cannot help thinking about her own son whom she hasn’t seen in two years since he left to travel. As the case unfolds it becomes clear that danger that seems far away is closer than one might think.

When one of her dance partners leaves behind a gruesome souvenir she is thrust into a dark adventure.
