We all may need to take a break this week after such an eventful Fourth of July, Chinook High School All Class Reunion and Blaine County Fair. The All-Class Reunion is held for graduates of Chinook High School every five years over the 4th of July weekend and welcomes everyone to join in the festivities. This year that happened to include those in town attending the Blaine County Fair. The two big time events worked seamlessly together and their schedules complimented each other very well, and as a result made for five days of excitement. Wednesday, the Blaine County Fair Kids Rodeo highlighted the days activities. Thursday, the All-Class Reunion Brewfest attracted hundreds to the Sweet Memorial Park and by all accounts was a huge success. Talk of making the Brewfest an annual event was the topic of many discussions. Thursday night concluded with the ever popular Pig Wrestling, held in front the grandstands. Friday saw the 4-H and FFA Livestock Shows highlight the morning and afternoon sessions. The Bear Paw Roundup PRCA Pro Rodeo was a huge hit Friday night. Lines extended way back for those fans waiting to gain entrance to the Arena and when they got in they were treated to a fantastic rodeo. Saturday morning, the Jesse James Memorial Color Run took place with a good number taking part in the event. At the Chinook Golf Course 60 competitors hit the links to take part in the All-Class Reunion Tournament. 4-H and FFA Livestock shows continued and the Bear Paw Roundup Rodeo was back for another great performance. Both Friday and Saturday nights concluded with a street dance on main street featuring Mighty Big Jim and the Tall Boys. Sunday afternoon the 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale was well attended with plenty of buyers on hand to put smiles on the sellers faces. The Blaine County Showdown Demolition Derby capped a great weekend with another fantastic show.
