School started this week in Turner for the Big Flat community. It seems school starts earlier each year. Good Luck to all the teachers and kids. May it be a good year for all. Don’t forget school will be in session this Friday the 23rd.

The Billmayer gals and their kids had a day out on Saturday . They went shopping in Havre, ate at Wolfer’s Restaurant, and took the kids swimming at the end of the day. A good time was had by all.

Hilary Richman and Natalie were out to Mom and Dad Krass’ on Saturday. She canned a batch of their favorite pickles, bread and butter, for them while there.

Susan and Gene Billmayer hosted a family supper Sunday night. Eric and Karyn cooked fish that they had caught for the group.

Linda Hauge and Anita Reed were out to Mom and Dad Krass’ during the week to help them out.

Gene and Susan Billmayer attended the Ag Meeting and supper put on by Chinook Veterinary Clinic at the Eagles on Tuesday night.


Diana Maloney was out over the weekend to mow Mom and Dad Krass’ lawn and help them out.

Susan Billmayer brought Emily home for the weekend from Havre.

I have a correction/addition to last weeks news- Kathy and Ed Zellmer were also guests at Shawn and Bobbi Becks meal for the family last week.

Wally and Loretta Beck, Crystal, Cassidy, Holly, Cooper, and Lucy Grabofsky left Friday to attend the memorial service for Wally’s sister, Dorothy Beck Anderson, in Lincoln. They returned home on Sunday. Also attending were Kevin Beck, Shawn and Bobbi Beck, Tate, Ty, and Harley Beck.

Teresa Cornell went to Great Falls on Monday. She took her Mom, Evelyn Hedstrom to meet Evelyn’s brother, George Nielsen, who recently had his 90th birthday. They had a celebration at Giant Springs.

On Tuesday, Teresa Cornell, Chris and Leann Hedstrom drove to Rathdrum, Idaho to see Cori Hedstrom. Cori has since then passed away. There will be a celebration of life for him on September 7.

After returning to Great Falls, Teresa Cornell went to Billings to baby sit her grandkids, Danial and Addison Cornell, children of Dalton and Alyssa Cornell. She returned home Sunday evening.
