Three days may not have been enough time for everyone to do all that they wanted while in town for the 100 Year Harlem High School All Class Reunion. According to event organizer, Kellie Rasmussen, 307 alumni registered for the reunion package.

Organizers included Karolee Kronk and Rita Richman, who put together the style show on Saturday night. Paul Rasmussen was in charge of the Car Show and Brew-fest on the north end of Main Street. Kayla Hudon took care of the Color Run Saturday morning and Kristi Warburton handled the dance Saturday night.

In addition, Don Richman organized a get together at the golf course and the Harlem High School FFA and TSA served a pancake breakfast Saturday morning. Kellie Rasmussen handled all the registrations and helped the swim team serve Prime Rib dinner at the banquet held Saturday night. The FFA also hosted a Trap Shoot Sunday afternoon and volunteers held a 3 on 3 basketball tournament for youth and adults.

"It was a tremendous success, something for every age group," stated Kellie Rasmussen. "They (Alumni) didn't come just to see Harlem, they all had an activity to attend. To have all these individuals give their time to hold activities from basketball to golf, the car show etc. every activity available is great, it's all volunteer and that's what makes a great memory."

Rasmussen said that more than 200 registered for the kickoff dinner Friday night and 352 registered for the banquet in the gym Saturday night. Rasmussen said volunteers manned the entrance to many events to get an accurate count. Those numbers also reflected that 200 took part in the dance held at the old VFW Club.

A parade was held Saturday afternoon with awards being given to the top three floats. First was the float designed by the Class of 1970. Second was 9o Years, 9 Decades, one family of Harlem Alumni (Rasmussen, Bergh, Kinzel, Tangen). Third was Harlem Swim Team.

The Reunion Committee also recognized Lori Simons Walking Eagle has an Honorary Alumni. Walking Eagle painted the Cat in the High School gymnasium her junior year, before having to transfer her senior year to Hays/Lodge Pole. See page B1 for more photos.
