Confirmation was held in Hogeland this Sunday at the Lutheran Church. Emma Timmons was confirmed into the Church. A dinner followed the service in her honor.

Susan and Lee Mason of Lincoln were here over the weekend visiting at Elissa and Jordan Zellmer’s home. They came especially to watch the grandsons play basketball.

Dusty and Misty Mohar are the proud parents of a baby boy, born on Sunday. He has been named Steven Joseph. Brothers Colter and Corbin welcomed him home. Congratulations to grandparents, Brenda and Terry Mohar. The boys have been staying with Grandma and Grandpa for a few days.

Wally and Loretta Beck went to the Jamboree at St. Judes in Havre on Friday and Saturday morning. They also enjoyed lunch with Ralph and Nancy Snider on Friday after the ball game at PJs.

Hilary, Hannah and Natalie Richman came out to visit Mom and Dad Krass Sunday afternoon Diana Maloney also came to visit everyone.

There will be a Halloween Carnival in Turner on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. Come out and enjoy the holiday and see all the kids costumes.

Shawn, Tate, and Ty Beck stopped in for a visit at Grandma and Grandpa Becks on Sunday.

Wally and Loretta Beck attended Lucy Mae’s belated birthday and Cassidy’s birthday supper Sunday evening. Others attending were Shawn, Bobbi, Tate, Ty and Harley Beck,

Matt, Sadie, Abby, Lucas, and Zane Grabofsky, and Grandpa Rick Grabofsky.

This coming Sunday, Nov. 3, Hogeland Lutheran Church will hold their Fall Dinner and Bazaar. It will be held from 12-2 p.m. with the Bazaar opening at 11:30. Come out and enjoy a Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings and pie. There will be no Church this Sunday in Hogeland because of the dinner.

Jr. High Basketball has started, and the youth held their girls and boys games at St. Judes on both Friday and Saturday mornings. This weekend will be a Jamboree in Turner on Nov.2nd.

Volleyball games were held this week on Thursday in Whitewater and in Harlem on Saturday. Senior night was observed on Saturday and the Seniors were honored. Our Senior, Sarah Billmayer was honored also. This coming week District Tourney will be held in Glasgow on Nov. 1st and 2nd.

Susan Billmayer attended a garden club meeting in Havre on Tuesday.

Gene, Susan, and Emily Billmayer attended the Confirmation at Hogeland Lutheran Church Sunday for Emma Timmons.

Susan Billmayer, Sharon Goodrich, Jill Krass,, Kathy Zellmer and Sandy Beck made lefsa Thursday at the Church for the upcoming dinner.

Emily and Susan Billmayer attended a retirement party for Barb Weber Saturday afternoon in Chinook.

The parents and grandparents have been busy attending basketball and volley ball games this week. Hear there were some good games.

We have had a few nice days this past week and some very windy ones too. Even got a skiff of snow Saturday night.
