Veterans at Chinook High School are greeted by students. Celebrations to honor all or our local Veterans, past and present, took place all over Blaine County on Monday, November 11. The Meadowlark Elementary, Chinook High School, Harlem Elementary, Hays/Lodge Pole Elementary and High School and Turner High School all held presentations and invited Veterans to meet the students. Harlem High School welcomed local Veterans for a meal on Tuesday. Veterans Day, originally referred to as Armistice Day, is traditionally observed at 11:11 a.m. on the eleventh day of the eleventh month each year.
