KELLY (MCCOY) PUTZ

February 5, 2020

Kelly passed away on January 14, 2020 at her home in Bonney Lake Washington from a brain aneurism. Her father Jim (Snider) McCoy also passed from the same thing 22 years ago.

Kelly was born April 28, 1960 in Havre to parents Jim and Myrla (Neufold) McCoy. She was raised in Chinook and graduated from CHS in 1978.

When growing up she babysat most of them time – mothers liked her. She won County Dress Revue when she was in 4-H. Kelly trained as a hairdresser out of high school. She attended Northern 2 years, worked for the State of Alaska for 5 years. Lost her job in Washington when the business closed. Kelly's husband Joe (an air traffic controller) said she didn't need to apply for a job, so she didn't.

Knowing her mother was interested in flowers, plants and quilting, for 25 years. Kelly took her somewhere everyday each spring from Canada to Portland. She took pictures of everything.

In the fall Kelly spent a week in Chinook and Havre visiting relatives and friends – especially her closest classmate Julie Finley.

Kelly is survived by her husband, Joe Putz, brother, Tim McCoy (Townsend MT), Mother, Myrla McCoy (Chinook MT), Aunt and Uncle Bob and Helen (Neufold) Soper (Havre MT), Aunt Connie (McCoy) Anderson (Chinook MT), and Cousins Tom Anderson (Havre MT) and Chris Soper (Arizona).

Cremation has taken place. No further plans at this time.
