While you are sheltering in place it is a great time to complete the census form. You may complete your census online at my2020census.gov, by phone at 844-330-2020, or using the paper form which should arrive in April. Call the library if you have questions.

The Book Challenge for April is to read a book with a name in the title. We would be happy to find one for you.

Be sure to keep checking our website and Facebook page for information during the Coronavirus pandemic. We have links to resources for education, entertainment and helpful tips during this difficult time. Remember we are here to help.

If you need materials please call the library and we will check them out to you and deliver them curbside. If you are unable to come to the library we will make arrangements to deliver materials to you. You may make an appointment if you need to use a computer, make copies or use the FAX machine. Also call the library for the Wi-Fi password, which changes daily.

You may obtain free ebooks or audio books using MontanaLibrary2Go. You will need to download the Overdrive app or Libby app. You will also need your library card number. Call the library for assistance.

Here are the new selections that have arrived at the library. “The Authenticity Project” is by Clare Pooley. Julian Jessop is a lonely artist in his seventies who believes most people aren’t really honest with each other. But what if they were? So he begins to keep a journal and leaves it in his local café. From there the owner, Monica, secretly adds her own entries and leaves the notebook in the wine bar across the street. Others who find the notebook add their entries and soon six strangers find each other at the Monica Café.

J.T. Ellison is the author of “Good Girls Lie.” The Goode School is a prestigious girls prep school where appearance is everything. As long as students pretend to follow the rules, no one questions the cruelties of the secret societies or the questionable behavior of the young women who expect to get away with murder.

But when a popular student is found dead, the truth cannot be ignored.

“The Making of a Miracle” is the true untold story of the captain of the 1980 gold medal-winning U.S. Olympic hockey team written by Mike Eruzione.

Chad Dundas had written “Champion of the World.” Former lightweight wrestling champ Pepper Van Dean and his wife find themselves marooned in the wilds of Oregon. Pepper accepts an offer as a trainer for Garfield Taft, a down-and-out African American heavyweight contender. At the training camp in Montana the Van Dean’s discover nothing is what is seems. They must rely on wits and brawn to make it through the world of gangsters, bootlegging, and fixed competitions.

Three new additions to the Montana collection include “People Before the Park: The Kootenai and Blackfeet Before Glacier National Park” by Sally Thompson, Kootenai Culture Committee and Pikunni Traditional Association; “Seven Montanas: A Journey in Search of the Soul of the Treasure State” by Ednor Therriault; and “A Million Acres” which is a collection of reflections on Montana’s land and open spaces.
