Harlem Library

The Book Challenge for July is to read a book that features nonhuman characters. Summer Reading continues with Storytime in the Park every Tuesday at 10 A.M.

Children should be accompanied by an adult and bring a blanket to sit on. Children, teens and adults should let the library know the number of books or minutes read to earn prizes and to be entered to win grand prizes at the end of July. Don’t miss the Story Walk in the park!

Blaine County Museum

We invite you to join our “Friends of the Museum”volunteer group to assist with outreach, fundraising, event organizing and other projects, which can be determined by your specific interests. Participate at your convenience. Diverse age groups and backgrounds welcome. Informational sessions will be held at the museum, 501 Indiana in Chinook. Choose one of the following to attend. Thursday, July 16 or Friday, July 17 at 6:30 pm or Saturday, July 18 at 5:00 pm. Contact Sam at 357-2590 or email blmuseum@itstriangle.com.


Blaine County Library

Carnegie Libraries Traveling Exhibit will be at the Blaine County Library from July 1-17.

Story Walks Monday and Wednesday at the Meadowlark 12:00 to 1:30. Story Time at 10:30 Tuesdays on the grass in front of the Grande Villa. Beat the Heat Movie on Thursday will be Swift the Movie at 12:30 and 2:30. Mobile Hotspots available for checkout.

Community Chest

The Community Chest fund drive for 2020 for the time being will be put on hold until COVID-19 is over, anyone wishing to make a donation that will be distributed among various youth activities can be mailed to: Community Chest, PO Box 39, Chinook, MT 59523

Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation Meeting

Thursday, July 16th, 6:30 p.m. at the Girl Scout House in Chinook

We welcome everyone to attend and give their feedback on projects that the Foundation is fundraising for in regards to the Chinook City Pool and the Sweet Park.
