Harlem Library

The Harlem Library Board meets today at 4:15 for its July meeting. The library is now requiring everyone ages 5 and older to wear masks when entering the library in accordance with Governor Bullock’s directives for counties with 4 or more active Corona Virus cases. If you have completed the July Book Challenge to read a book featuring nonhuman characters be sure to notify the library. August’s challenge is to read a book set in another time. All participants in the Summer Reading Program have until August 7 to let the library know the number of books/minutes read. Grand prize winners will be announced the week of August 10.

Blaine County Library

Story Walks Monday and Wednesday at the Meadowlark 12:00 to 1:30. Story Time at 10:30 Tuesdays on the grass in front of the Grande Villa. Beat the Heat Movie on Thursday will be Alpha and Omega at 12:30 and 2:30. Mobile Hotspots available for checkout.


Community Chest

The Community Chest fund drive for 2020 for the time being will be put on hold until COVID-19 is over, anyone wishing to make a donation that will be distributed among various youth activities can be mailed to: Community Chest, PO Box 39, Chinook, MT 59523

Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation Meeting

Thursday, August 6th 6:00 p.m. at the Girl Scout House in Chinook. We welcome everyone to attend and give their feedback on projects that the Foundation is fundraising for in regards to the Chinook City Pool and the Sweet Park.
