The library has hotspots available for check out. These small devices provide internet access using a cellular connection. Hotspots may be checked out for fourteen days to patrons who are in good standing for at least one month. To check out a hotspot a lending agreement must be signed and a survey must be completed when the device is returned.

As Nazi soldiers round up Jews Roza and her five-year-old daughter, Shira, hide in a neighbor's barn. To keep Shira quiet Roza tells a story about a girl in an enchanted garden who is forbidden to make a sound, just like Shira. In the story a yellow bird sings whatever the girl composes in her head. When the day comes they are no longer safe in the barn, Roza must choose to keep Shira by her side or give her the chance to survive apart. "The Yellow Bird Sings" is by Jennifer Rosner.

"Pretty Things" is a novel by Janelle Brown. In this page-turner two women, Nina and Vanessa, both brilliant and damaged, try to survive using deceit and duplicity.
