September is Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month.

For Kindergarten through 3rd grade:

Please select a color page or color pages to color, complete and return to the LAC c/o Blaine County Health Department, PO Box 516, Chinook, MT 59523 by October 7th at 5pm.

Please know that you are special, people care, and that difficult situations don't last forever.

For 4th arade through 12th grade:

We invite all students in grades 4th-12th to celebrate each person's worth by drawing a page to be colored for NEXT YEAR's contest.

There will be a prize awarded to the top design in each of the following groups: grades 4-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12. One of these winners will be selected for as the grand prize winner, and that design will be distributed next year as the coloring page for grades kindergarten through 3rd.

The design must:

• Promote mental health or themes of self-confidence, asking for help, being involved, combating bullying or other suicide prevention concept.


• Be an age appropriate design for distribution to kindergarten through 3rd grade students

• Be on a standard 8 ½ x 11 inch piece of white paper

• Reprinting and reproduction rights granted to the Local Advisory Council for use in the contest for next school year, indicated by submission and signature

• Labeled with the artist's name, grade, school, phone number, address, and signature

• Be returned to the LAC c/o Blaine County Health Department, PO BoJG 516, Chinook, MT 59523 by October 7th at 5pm.
