The Fall Festival this past weekend was well attended and a very welcomed event for the community to enjoy.

The Fun Run in the morning included more than 20 runners. Sugarbeets were decorated on main street. Vendors were out showcasing their goods, and people were mingling about taking it all in.

The atmosphere was upbeat, smiles were everywhere and a organizers were pleased with the turnout.

The Kelly Girls

Chinook had a great weekend full of activity and in this day and age it couldn't have come soon enough. Friday afternoon Chinook High School held their Homecoming Parade. The Sugarbeeter football team played their Homecoming game Friday night. The Chinook Rod & Gun Club Gun & Antique Show was Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the Festival was icing on the cake.

Nick Johnson and Lance PitKanen were in attendance and really liked the knife displays and all the people being out.

Families were out together, enjoying the activities and the Kelly girls were pretty happy with all the food available and really enjoyed the people.

Mike and Chelsea Jones took in the Festival with their two children. Ember said her favorite part was the Pumpkin Patch while her sister Harper really liked painting all the Sugarbeets.

A parade and a street dance capped off a great day!
