Sugarbeeter Wrestlers Recognize Their Seniors at First Home Mixer

The Chinook Sugarbeeter wrestling team finally got a chance to wrestle for the first time this past week. The 'Beeters were in Chester on Thursday and home on Friday, competing in front the hometown fans in the first of two home mixers.
All seven wrestlers were in action with each getting the opportunity to wrestle twice each night.

The coaching staff and wrestlers alike are grateful for the chance to compete against opponents outside their own wrestling room.
The post season has been pushed back three weeks to allow the wrestlers to get in the work needed to compete at their best come tournament time.
In a break in the action Friday night the Sugarbeeters took time to recognize the two seniors on the team. Rebecca Stroh has been an outstanding wrestler for Chinook becoming the first girl to ever place at the State Class B/C Wrestling Tournament. Garrett Pruttis has also been a podium finisher on the big stage for the Sugarbeeters and has always represented the team well.
The 'Beeter will be in Circle January 15, Glasgow January 16, Fort Benton January 19 and return home January 22.
