Blaine County Library

Mobile Hotspots and iPads available for checkout. After School Hangout for grades 7 & 8 Mondays at 3:30, Story Time Tuesdays at 10:30, After School Hangout for grades 5 & 6 Tuesdays at 3:30 and LEGO Club for grades K and up Thursdays at 3:30.

Blaine County Museum

is seeking a new voluntary board member. Interested persons should write a cover letter expressing why they would like to serve on the museum board. Letters can be dropped off at Blaine County Museum, 501 Indiana Street, Chinook or mailed to the museum: P.O. Box 927, Chinook, MT 59523. Letters will be reviewed during the board’s December meeting. Harlem Library

The Book Challenge for Feb. is to read a book with a medical theme. The library board meeting is Feb. 24, 4:15 P.M. Virtual Story Time is held Tuesdays at 10 A.M. via Facebook Live. Parents are invited to sign up their preschool children for the “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” program at the library. The Winter Reading Program concludes at the end of February.


Plant A Seed...READ

On Thursday, February 18, the Plant a Seed. . . READ organization will be partnering with Taco John’s at 505 First Street West in Havre to Crunch for a Cause. Fifty per cent of every purchase made in the drive-thru from 5:00- 7:00 PM will be donated to Plant a Seed... READ as long as the visiting patron submits a copy of the Crunch for a Cause fundraiser flyer to the cashier, shows a photo of the Plant a Seed…READ flyer on a smartphone, or mentions having seen their flyer. Plant a Seed... READ is an educational community impact project that not only advocates for literacy but supports children in North Central Montana with readiness skills prior to kindergarten.

Chinook Jr-Sr High virtual parent teacher conferences will be held Feb 22nd from 4pm-7pm.

North Blaine County Coop Grazing District
