VALLEY CLOVERS 4-H CLUB

The Valley Clovers 4-H club has been meeting monthly for regular 4-H meetings. In December, the club met at Harold and Rhea Miller’s shop for their annual Christmas party. This year the club enjoyed Nachos, and a new corn hole tournament for fun. We also included an awards ceremony for the members present since there was no Achievement night this year. The club had a great time and really enjoys this new tradition. The January Meeting was at Walner Hall with 9 members and 3 guests present. The Club discussed the spring activity and it was voted to go to Sleeping Buffalo for the February meeting. The club also discussed ideas to have a guest speaker at the March meeting. Demonstrations were done by Cody Arnold, Allyssa Schoen, and Tyler Schoen. February came with unexpected weather and extreme cold, so our trip to Sleep Buffalo was postponed until March. We still met at Walner Hall and decided on a Feed Nutritionist for our guest speaker. The plan is to go to Sleeping Buffalo for pizza and swimming for our next meeting on March 14th. The club also decided to let everyone invite one guest to join in on the fun. The Club is expecting to do a fundraiser this spring, and people are looking forward to the upcoming workshops that are currently being planned for the spring and summer.
