The library will be hosting an open house book signing for local author Donna Miller, Thursday March 4th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to stop in to meet the author and get your book signed. Donna will have books available with a special event price of $25.00.

We have one non-fiction book ready for checkout this week. “Uniquely Human (A Different Way of Seeing Autism)” by Barry Prizant, PhD is a new approach to understanding autism.

“The Paris Library” by Janet Charles is based on the true World War II story of the heroic librarians at the American Library in Paris. It is an unforgettable story of romance, friendship, family, and the power of literature to bring us together. “The Girl from the Channel Islands” by Jenny Lecoat is based on an incredible true story of courage and hope in WWII. We also have two Charles Todd novels ready to go. “A Hanging at Dawn” is a Bess Crawford novel and “A Fatal Lie” is an Inspector Ian Rutledge mystery.


After School Hangout for grades 7 and 8 is on Mondays at 3:30. Story Time for ages 6 and under is Tuesdays at 10:30. After School Hangout for grades 5 and 6 is Tuesdays at 3:30. LEGO Club for grades Kindergarten and up is Thursdays at 3:30. Masks are required for anyone age 5 and over during all programs. Hand washing will be required upon entering the building. There will be social distancing where applicable. There will be no food or drinks during programs.

We now have 2 iPads available for checkout for a 14-day checkout, in addition to the hotspots.
