Student Support Services - Aaniiih Nakoda College

Fort Belknap Agency, Montana-Aaniiih Nakoda College is pleased to announce the addition of the Student Support Services Project (SSSP). This is funded through the Department of Education – TRIO program and is funded for five years.

Staff include Ramona Horn, Director. Ramona worked at ANC when it was Fort Belknap College as an instructor and the Assistant Dean of Instruction. She worked for many years in TRIO programs for the Fort Belknap Indian Community. Ramona is excited for her new job and ready to implement this student-oriented project. Kathy Pitkanen, the SSSP Student Advisor is a graduate of Fort Belknap College and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Human services. Kathy is happy to be back at Fort Belknap. Caleb Grant, the SSSP Administrative Assistant is a graduate of Aaniiih Nakoda College. His mother and grandmother are also alumni of Aaniiih Nakoda College. Caleb graduated from Aaniiih Nakoda College as an honor student. Braydon Fitzpatrick is the new Student Success Navigator. Braydon earned a bachelor's in Literature and a Master's in American Indian Studies both from Montana State University-Bozeman. He is looking forward to working at the college with staff and faculty and meeting the students. The Student Support Services staff offices are located in Nakoda Hall.
