Venetia Marie Lodge went to be with her Mother Edith and Dad Gordon. Venetia passed away of natural causes on February 22, 2021 at the age of 57. She was born to Gordon and Edith Lodge on April 21, 1964 at the Ft. Belknap Hospital. She attended high school at the Chemawa Boarding School in Oregon and graduated in 1980. Venetia spent her entire life in Hays and lived with and cared for her mother until her death in 2010. She had a big heart and was quick to help out others in need when called upon to do so. She always had a big smile for everyone she met. She loved her cats and they gave her comfort and joy. Venetia met her husband Jeremy Reed in 2011 and they were together until her death. She is survived by her husband Jeremy, brothers Ramon (Eldora) LaRoque of Pierre, SD, Vaughn Lodge of Spokane, WA, Glen (Polly) Green of Deer Lodge, MT, Ryan (Pauline) Buffalo Bull Lodge of Saskatchewan Canada, Gordon "Jr" Lodge of Hays and Dion Lodge of Arlee, MT and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Edith Lodge, sister JeriLynn LaRoque, and brother Dory Green.
