The Montana Actor's Theater (MAT) invites local actors and actresses to Save the Date, May 8, as audition day. The former Creative Leisure Building at 417 First Street in Havre will be the audition venue for youth and adults interested in a role in A Midsummer Night's Dream, one of William Shakespeare's most popular plays. The auditions will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

In A Midsummer Night's Dream, residents of Athens interact with fairies from a local forest, and soon four young Athenians are in a romantic tangle with comic results. Shakespeare stages the workings of love in ways that have fascinated playgoers and readers for generations as we encounter mysterious images of romantic desire and learn about its power.

Several roles are available and no experience is necessary. The show will be held in conjunction with MAT's Spring into the Past Renaissance Faire in June.
