White Pine 4-H Meeting Minutes

 

July 28, 2021



President Katie Tillman, called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm on July 15th, 2021 at the Park. There were 20 members, 2 advisors and 6 Guests present.

The American pledge was led by Owen Davies and the 4-H pledge was led by Grace Buck.

Roll call was “Your favorite thing you did this summer so far.”

Grace Buck read the minutes from the June meeting. Zoe Scofield motioned to approve the minutes Lane Wicks seconded: Motion passed.

New business: There will be a project day July 21 at 9:00 -4:00 at the fairgrounds. Swine, beef and lamb workshops started July 15th. Everyone has to sign up for a shift at the Chuck Wagon and also bring 2 pies. Everybody needs to sign up for a stall, if needing one, before the 30th. Interview sign up is due before the 30th. White Pine 4-H club will be cleaning the Poultry and Sale barn August 6th. Radio Ads are the 23rd at 2:00 pm at the Trippel E room.


Announcements: It was suggested that we bring 4 canned goods per family to donate to the Food Bank on our September meeting; Evan Davies motioned to donate can goods to the Food Bank, Gus Buck seconded it, motioned passed. It was also suggested that we hold another bake sale; Owen Davies motioned to hold another bake sale in September Ethan Klingaman 2nd, Motion passed. We will be holding another bake sale September 11th at the Chinook flea market.

Demonstrations: Katie Tilleman talked about how to make guacamole; Lois McKenzie talked about how to make a rabbit toy; and Patrick McKenzie talked about how to get rid of knots in your back.

Danial Tilleman motion to adjourn the meeting; Charlie Buck seconded it. Meeting adjourned
