Milk River Indian Days Makes Return This Friday with Parade, Grand Entry to take Place Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Milk River Indian Days Pow Wow celebrates its 55th year back in July of 2019. Unfortunately the 2020 edition was canceled due to the Covid-19 Global Pandemic. This Friday and Saturday the Milk River Indian Days festivities will return on a smaller scale but will still feature some wonderful dancing, drumming and beautiful pageantry.

The Milk River Indian Days (MRID) Pow Wow has featured some of the most beautiful pageantry, dancing and drumming around the country for more than 50 years.

The MRID Pow Wow has attracted folks from all over the United States and Canada and has been a highlight of the Pow Wow Calender for years. Unfortunately the Pow Wow was forced to cancel a year ago due to the worldwide Covid-19 Pandemic.

This year the MRID Pow Wow makes its return, albeit in a limited form. Festivities will be limited to local residents (Blaine/Phillips Counties) due to the rise in new Covid-19 cases.
