October 13, 2021

Brenda and Terry, Dusty, Colter, Corbin, and Steven Mohar and Aislin Jones went to Big Sandy to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday.

Darwin Zellmer and Rich and Elden Gerke stopped by the Wallace Beck home for a brief long-distance visit on Wednesday.

Susan Billmayer went to the 4-H Foundation meeting in Chinook on Thursday.

Rich and Elden Gerke of Wisconsin have been in the area visiting, after their visit in the Yaak with Wynn and Shirley Zellmer. While they were here, they were houseguests of Darwin and Betty Zellmer in Harlem. They spent the day Saturday at Ed and Kathy Zellmer’s for lunch, and had supper at Wally and Loretta Beck’s Saturday night. They boarded the train on Sunday morning for home.

Jane Krass’ girls visited throughout the week to help Mom. On Tuesday, Linda Hauge took Mom to appointments in Chinook. Sunday visitors were Diana Maloney and Anita Reed, Linda Hauge, and Hilary and Natalie Richman. Hilary brought out some fresh lefse that she made for a snack.

Tate and Ty Beck mowed Grandma Loretta and Grandpa Wally’s lawn the last time for this season on Wednesday.

We have enjoyed the beautiful fall weather. Sure makes it nice to harvest the garden when it’s warm out!

Covid has hit the Big Flat recently. School went online distance learning, and many events were cancelled.
